Will I perceive comfortable contained by the Houston nouns?

I am black and have lived within Dallas before. (I am currently surrounded by Phoenix and I am thinking of a relocation to Houston) I found the hospitality and friendliness to be exempt in Dallas (unlike Phoenix), BUT, near was a tremendous amount of racism (There doesn't appear to be much racism in Phoenix). I want to know that I will get the impression comfortable in Katy. (I would approaching to live there because of the low crime, I am also choosing to move here, because it is close and will be cheaper than the East Coast.) But, what can I expect? Any blacks out there who want to share their story, would be great, but anyone is make the acquaintance of to add their comments. Thanks!

i'm hispanic and moved here about 3 years ago, i love it, haven't have a problem personally or witnessed it against others, houston is probably one of the most diverse cities within america, houstonians don't have a problem beside race, consider this-they bent over backwards for the race affected by hurricane katrina, what they do own a problem with is anyone who comes to houston near their hand out and no intention on contributing to it's society, i outstandingly recommend the northwest area, tomball and cypress areas are growing hastily and lots of opportunity, so come to houston but be prepared to contribute and take nurture of yourself
I don't see why you'd discern uncomfortable surrounded by the Houston area. Houston welcome everyone. We have empire from practically every country living here, and we don't have seriously of racial problems.

One problem we do own, as someone above pointed out, is with those who come next to their hand out and don't want to contribute. Houston is made up of working race who'd give you the shirt sour their back if simply you'd help someone else within kind. We don't tolerate moochers.

As for Katy, I don't see why you'd hold any problem there. The same work ethic applies, but explicitly more of a regional thing. Katy is "whiter" than most of the rest of the nouns, but there hold never been tribal problems there.
The majority of culture in Katy are enlightened and will treat you as you treat them. Katy is a suburb of Southwest Houston, which have a very considerable black community. I must warn though that Southwest have a high crime rate. Katy is not nearly as fruitless and is a nice place to live so far.
I'm a white guy so take my warning with a pellet of salt but I truly believe you will be fine contained by Katy.
Most of the ignorant bigots can't afford to live contained by Katy.

Edit: Katy, Mayde Creek, Copperfield, Tomball, etc. are all suburbs of Houston and one tend to melt into the other on the West to Northwest side of town. This nouns is bounded by I10 around to US290, to Beltway 8(Sam Houston Tollroad) as you go into town.
Jersey Village tend to be on the lily white side. Tomball will probably have some homegrown racist who have uncommonly left the nouns in their lives. But it is growning vigorous and most people at hand are educated.
That is a big factor, teaching. Most of these areas have honestly well erudite, more professional people living here. Downtown and midtown areas are very nice but to some extent expensive to live in.
I still say-so you would like Katy. It is a melt pot. I have a correct friend there who is Hispanic and is married to a woman from Lebanon. He loves Katy, as does his wife. People of tons racial background live in peace contained by Katy. I once managed a neighborhood sports dowel in Katy and didn't see much evidence of racism aside from the occassional redneck. I own worked bars contained by other areas that I have see signs of racism, but not in Katy. Heck, we even showed the World Cup soccer match when only the English and the Mexican guys care about it.
Dude I have be living here all my life(i am a moment ago a teen). Yes there will be some racism any where on earth in Houston, but I am not a racist, and most populace are friendly, so don,t worry. But do not move to east Houston in attendance are a lot of racist at hand, and lots of crime.I live in the south west region of Houston and it's pretty virtuous here.
Honey, how do we know if "you" will feel comfortable within Houston. We don't know you, we don't what you're like, we don't know if you find racism everywhere surrounded by your life.

We don't know if racism is an excuse you use to avoid constant things/people in your energy.

Some people yell racism every second. You will find what you seek. If you look for racism, you will find it.

There is other going to be racism/prejudice, deal next to it, or move to a cave. If someone looks at you, you probably estimate the person is a racist.

Houston, is the merely city in the USA, that never have race riots.
There be no need to, everyone get along with respectively other. There are areas of Houston where you will without a doubt, find your "comfort zone."

Honey, we can't tell you if you will be aware of comfortable in Houston.

By your cross-examine, I will say you will NOT be comfortable contained by Houston.

Keep your suitcase packed!
My kids were raise here and there are so copious different races and not much communicate about racism except on TV. There are pockets of racism anywhere but mostly these are not the culture you will be hanging around anyway. I believe that you will like it. We call for more good associates here just approaching anywhere. Welcome.
hello no here is no unusauly high rate of racism contained by houston at all. i am a mexican and enjoy lived here all my energy and have never experienced any racism. i have a sneaking suspicion that the people who experience it are only lookingout for it. searching fo rthe subsequent person to indict of being racist. if you are a conventional peronlike me then you own no problems
I'm not from here, but I enjoy lived here for almost 2 yrs., and there does appear to be a lot of racism, especially in The Woodlands. When I worked within The Woodlands, there be a lot of caucasian women who would look at me similar to I was going to steal their purse. I'm erudite with a pious job. I'm not at adjectives ghetto (wasn't raised there), and still I would win a lot of racism from caucasian women. It's also hugely boring here. You should have no problem living here though as this town is in poor health. It's not at all approaching living in a strong city resembling Philly or NYC or anywhere in California (which are adjectives better).
