Where is the closest place to Miami I can stay, minus in reality staying contained by Miami??
There is so much to do in Miami, but I hear it is all spanish-speaking ethnic group down there and that it is dirty. Where can I stay to be precise close enough to shops, restaurants, beach that are in Miami short staying there. I thought Ft. Lauderdale??

Why not stay in Miami Beach, Coral Gables or Coconut Grove. Embrace the different cultures inside the area. You must hold lunch or dinner at the Versailles restaurant. Enjoy some cuban coffee, guava pastries (sooo good), and other specialties.
Im within Miami right now and yes it's dirty, but you can stay surrounded by Hollywood or Hallandale beach within Fort Lauderdale, or you can go south of Miami and stay within Key West.
Miramar...thats where I'm from..miramar is at the countyline of florida..lift it from me...its nice and you'd love it there!

Hey,
I live in the Keys and I know exactly what you're chitchat about. Here, population stay in my home town fairly than Key West, as it can get pretty crazy. In Miami, most of the folks I know stay in Homestead/Florida City. Its really close and ALOT cheaper. You don't own to pay nearly as much for food, motels, gas, ect. Plus, in that are alot of places to go if you entail to get things you've forgotten or extras when you travel to the beach that don't require you to nurture a coin box or get a parking overrun and such.
