Anyone know the best route from Atlanta, GA to New York City by coup¨¦?
I'M DRIVING TO NYC THIS WEEKEND, THE GOOGLE MAP GIVES ME DIFFERENT ROUTE THAN THE ONE I'M USING. IT DOESNT TAKE ON 95.
ANY ONE?

I've taken this route many times( smaller amount cops, traffic, and tolls), I don't like 95:
5. I-85 N turn 240 mi 262.4 mi
6. Take exit #38/STATESVILLE/COLUMBIA onto I-77 N toward COLUMBIA go 125 mi 387.4 mi
7. Take exit #32/ROANOKE onto I-81 N jump 370 mi 757.4 mi
8. Take exit #89/ALLENTOWN onto I-78 E go 136 mi 893.4 mi
9. Take exit #58B/US-1-9 N onto US-1-9 N toward US-1 N/US-9 N move about 6.0 mi 899.4 mi
10. Continue on RT-139 E go 1.5 mi 900.9 mi
11. Continue on 12TH ST run 0.3 mi 901.2 mi
12. Continue on BOYLE PLZ (Portions toll) go < 0.1 mi 901.2 mi
13. Continue on HOLLAND TUNL
Distance: 908.3miles, Time: 13 hour 48 mins

you can thieve I 20E straight to I95N and that will take you to NJ and follow the signs for NY

I85N to I 95N (I never drove this route but it's equal has 20 to 95)
95 is easier apart from the smaller amount cops, traffic, and tolls, but your on those roads for a while so the turn here and there are pretty straight forward
If you just want to drive up 95 - procure directions to Raleigh, then get hold of Raleigh to New York. :)
85 N to 95N, when you get to DC whip the Baltimore Washington Parkway (2nd exit after the bridge) to avoid traffic, Take the 95 New York exit. Get on the Jersey Turnpike and take it the adjectives way long-gone exit 17 and into the city. PIck your level of the George Washintgon Bridge (Id recommend the top)

I live contained by ATL now but my total family is from NY. 2 of my friends and I only just did the drive again in March. Its not a discouraging drive, just long. Watch the stretch of highway surrounded by Northern N. Carolina into VA- lots of trees, very few exits and even a lesser amount of bathrooms and gas stations.

Hey there!! Go to www.mapquest.com and type within your destination and it will take you straight within the best way, list all roads etc. etc. adjectives the way to where on earth you are going. Good luck, and have a sheltered trip!!
I always use mapquest or mapblast. Where are you from.? FCHS- GA?
