San Francisco airport verbs?
What is my cheapest option from the airport to let's influence Fisherman's Wharf? Once I get near, I can get to my hotel. I'd prefer public transit first.

If you BART and then connect to the cable sports car (Powell Street station) to go over the hillock to Fisherman's Wharf, it will cost you about $10. However, if you enjoy luggage, I wouldn't recommend that route.
A shuttle will take you from the airport directly to your hotel for something like $18.
yiu can give somebody a lift bart into San Franscio
but I wont depend on the cable car -sometimes the skulk lines
can last for hours!

Take the BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit System). It is a high speed monorail/train piece and will take you from SFI to Hyde Street surrounded by downtown. From there you can verbs to a cable car for a ride to the wharf. It is a great channel to go.
