Halo,

I've be to Seattle the 1st week in July (celebrated 4th of July there) and loved it. It is terribly difficult to recommend things to do as it depends a lot on your age, identity and likes and dislikes. Someone notably recommend the Science museum to me and I wasn't that impressed. Are you more into gardens, nature or clubs or wining & dining or museums?

A must see when contained by Seattle is the Space Needle. Thats so synonym with Seattle. Have your picture taken nearby... it is the thing to do.

I recommend you shift to the following websites and do your own pick:

1. Space Needle

2. Pike Place Market
http://www.pikeplacemarket.org

3. Seattle Waterfront

4. Underground Tour

5. Experience Music Project

6. Seattle Chinese Garden

7. Washington Park Arboretum

8. Safeco Field

The best is go to:

(as said base on your interest, age and personality want before appendage what you would like to do).

Nobody know you better than yourself. We can all receive suggestions and you could hate it. Go brand your pick from any of the above websites and enjoy Seattle - I did!
Take time to step to Pike Place Market for sure. The Aquarium is also very nice. There is a Seattle City Pass that will amass you money on some of the big atractions in Seattle if you are into those things. See http://www.citypass.com/city/seattle.htm...

One of my favorite things to do, though it is a bit touristy is have dinner at the Space Needle Resturant. I really enjoy the unpaid night dinners. Take one of the ultimate reservation slots and it is less rushy, more intimate, and the view are just wonderful.

There is a short time ago so much to do in Seattle. If you can progress on a harbor tour, that could be fun. At least whip the time to go on a Ferry ride to Bainbridge Island and perchance have lunch at hand.

Oh, the other lady mentioned the Underground Tour. That is really woth doing. i loved it.
the answers above are accurate!! i't's hard to comepete!! conceivably go to a fancy restraunt!
we went within in april, as powerfully as portland, so we only have two days there. we essentially walked adjectives around town the first day we be there. we go to pikes market, the space syringe, the rock and roll/science fiction museums, took lots of pictures. Then the second day we go to Safeco field for the Mariners orifice day. That be awesome. It is a gorgeous field, if you approaching baseball. have a well-mannered time.
If you are into personality and mountains, go to Mt. Rainier. It is a superb place and will take your breath away. Also, nearby is a small Bavarian town, Leavenworth, which is worth visiting and along the passageway you will be able to see lots of raging rivers too. If you are no into personality that much, then Pike Place, Seattle Waterfront and Space Needle would be dutiful places to see. Have fun.
Seattle's two most famous attractions are the Space Needle (http://www.spaceneedle.com/) and Pike Place Market (http://www.pikeplacemarket.org/).

The Space Needle is somewhat pricey, but the vision is spectacular if it's not cloudy. Also, if you want to go out for a particularly nice dinner one night, you can construct reservations to eat at the rotating restaurant at the top of the Space Needle. The food is expensive, but you do carry to go up for the viewpoint for free.

Pike Place Market is free to explore. You can spend a good partly to a full day here if you like shopping. It is a must.

I would also recommend the Aquarium (http://www.seattleaquarium.org/). A lot of contemporary exhibits have not long been added (as of July 2007). They own a large number of otters, which are sometimes firm to find in other aquariums. They also own a dome glass room beside fish swimming all around you. A moral octopus exhibit is there, as capably.

If you like oysters, take home sure you go to Elliott's Oyster House on the waterfront. They hold tens of different varieties of oysters.
You have to shift to the Space Needle and the Seattle Aquarium!
Have a spread at The Fish Club in the Waterfront Marriott Hotel.
Order the Wild Salmon.
Warning---If you smoke, there is no smoking anywhere inside the buildings contained by Washington

Mt. Rainier-beautiful. Has some great trails, but if you don't want to really walk, in that are places to stop, and a few waterfalls right of the road. There is a guest center that looks in every direction. It have great views of the glaciers and the crest.

Have a Mimosa(they have lots of flavors to choose from) at Palomino on 5th Ave. They hold great food and if you go during delighted hour it is pretty reasonably priced. They bear out parking for the garage below the building, too.

Pike's Market- cool but they close down at 4 and parking is rough unless you park and walk a couple blocks. You can see the artistic Starbucks, too.

Space Needle-its cool but try to go on a clear time so you can see Mt. Rainier from the top

Nijo's- sushi-it's pretty good!

Whale Watching-takes a couple hours to acquire there but worth it. There is a pod of orcas that live fundamental the San Juan Islands

Hurricaine Rigde-must ride the ferry accross to B. Island afterwards drive, but it is a 180 degree panaramic belief of the Olympic Mountains, and the drive there have some great views of both the Puget Sound and the mountains.

Mariners' game-speaks for itself :)

Choose what you want. Save the rest for another trip. Have a great time!
