You've got to travel to the Empire State Building and stand on the observatory deck. It is very romantic and simply exciting to see this amazing city from so high up. If he's a sports follower he'd probably love ESPN Zone. The food is great and so are the prices, and there are huge TV screen everywhere showing all sports. There are even tv screen for each bathroom stall. It's located within Time Square.
Theres lots of romanic restaurants.. a horse-drawn carriage ride through central park.. a broadway show.. waddle across the Brooklyn bridge, or take a helicopter ride. Great hours of darkness life.. also Little Italy have some nice restaurants..check out CitySearch.com theres lots of stuff there.. NY is great..
So many places to progress and February will be really freezing here, so make sure to pack tons of snow shoes, coats, hat, scarves, etc...
few ideas:
1) Take him for rime skating at the Rockefeller center or Bryant Park. Super fun and romantic
2) Walk on Fifth Avenue or Central Park WEst along the park and Central Park. It will probably be covered in snow and it is lovely.
3) Take a walk contained by the diverses areas: Soho, East Village, West Village (specially Bleecker St), Fifth Avenue (specially below 14th Street which is the center of Greenwich Village)
4) go to a nice restaurant. There are tons within the city. Just look for some on the internet.
5) Empire Estate Building. Most popular site
6) You can also visit the Seaport nouns and you have striking views of the Brooklyn and Manhattan view.
For night out:
If you both resembling to go out and hold fun go to Meat Pack District, an nouns full of bars, clubs, and restaurants (below 14th Street by Hudson)
