Vacation surrounded by New York City.What do u reason?
My boyfriend and I have talk about going here I don`t know in March or May. I love to shop and resembling to do the normal touristy things. Would you suggest it?

Umm i'd suggest (if within is one) and street fair 'cause later you get tangible NYC..
Definitely stay in Manhattan
i love the big apple, i go roughly every 4 months. lots to see and do, visit time square, but be purely to know there is almost no parking so use hackney carriage or somthing.
March will be cold. Wait for May if you can. Touristy things:

yes i've been nearby, i went for the 1st time within august, and it was AMAZING! very well you have already have loads of suggestions of what to do and where to stay so i won't repeat it lol but heres my little tip of the time. don't bother going up the empire state building, the queues are long and it's really busy! i go up the rockefellar building, no waiting to go up, not intensely busy (we took great delight contained by looking at the packed crowds at the top of the empire through the telescope lol) its slightly shorter than the empire yes BUT it's still one the the greatest buildings and you get an amazing spectacle of the whole of fresh york and common sense you capture the empire state in the picture as well lol!
I would suggest going contained by May, the weather will warm up by that time.

-Museum of Natural History and the Rose Center for Earth and Space
-MoMa
-Broadway Show
-A Ride on the Staten Island Ferry (its free and you can see the Statue of Liberty as the ship crosses the harbor)
-Sightseeing tour on a Double Decker Bus

-Macy's (West 34th Street and Broadway in the heart of Hearld Square)
-Bloomingdale's (Lexington Avenue at East 59 and East 60 Streets)
-The shops along Fifth Avenue (just don't max out you credit cards)
-Lord and Taylor (5th Avenue at East 38th Street)
-Chinatown/Canal Street Area (if you want to progress on the cheap for the stuff you can't get on Fifth Avenue)
-NBA Store (for the basketball adherent - 5th Avenue at East 52nd Street)
-The Apple Computer Store (East 59th Street and Fifth Avenue)
-The Time Warner Center (West 59th Street - Columbus Circle)
-Hershey Store (for those with a sweet tooth)

It's got everything here, that's for sure. I've been at hand many times, and it's amazing.
Well I don't know in the order of where to travel, but one thing I should tip off you about is that if you try to stay at a hotel surrounded by the middle of the city, it's going to be really expensive. It would be better to go somewhere a bit farther away if you're concerned just about the prices.

New York is a big and beatiful I'm sure you close to there though I did not be in that place but I other seen contained by movies. Try to visit the website contained by tourism information about New York City.
