Las Vegas- Grand Canyon Trip?
Hi
I am going to Las Vegas soon and was wondering weather to book my excursions (Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam helicopter flights) previously i go or weather to continue until i got at hand?
If anybody can help me near prices or recommend any companies that they have used it would be really accommodating.
Thanks

I recommend that you skip Vegas, and spend more time at the Grand Canyon. Also, visit Zion National Park within southwest Utah. It is almost as good as the Grand Canyon.
The helicopter trip to Grand Canyon is around $250 per personage, the Grand Canyon trip is a day bus ride not a helicopter ride. Otherwise, you miss some great sights. Try www.lasvegasnow.com
I visited Las Vegas final month & I think it would be best to book the tours surrounded by person so you can check out the ethnic group first. Also - you can consult your hotel's concierge and get recommendation.
The other thing to consider for helicopter tours is the weather. It can bring really windy surrounded by that area so you might want to dally until you're there until that time booking such a tour.
If you belong to AAA, check out their site or go to your local organization to see what they offer/recommend.
"What's On" is a local free magazine that has listings of tours & coupons. The magazine is available (a) tons LV malls. It also has a website roughly speaking tours: http://www.whats-on.com/Browse.aspx?/139...
Frommer's recommends Gray Line. I've taken a Gray Line tour of Niagra Falls & be really pleased so you might want to check them out too. Here's the link to Frommer's w/ tour information & suggestions: http://frommers.com/destinations/lasvega...
Maverick helicopters or Pink Jeep if you prefer the drive. Presidential limos from the airport $100, you acquire an hour tour, drop off at hotel, plus return to airport at the close of your stay.
