I live in walworth county which is in the order of 30 miles southwest of Milwaukee. gas is $3.79, diesel is $4.69 (I haven't filled my fuel cistern in 2 yrs...can't afford to) gallon of milk is $3.79, 2 bedroom nice apartment starts at $700 and go up from there, avg home cost is around $200,000 sale tax is 5.5%.it is cheaper than fresh york or LA on the plus side...lol
Well, I'm a Wisconsinite, but sadly I don't do a lot of shopping and I don't enjoy a car, but within relation to other parts of the country, I think we're around average, perchance a little cheaper? As for other things to know, I hope you similar to cheese :) and the Packers, I'm not a fan but 99% of Wisconsinites are, and they can draw from pretty crazy lol
This is going to differ quite a bit depending on where on earth in Wisconsin you desire to move to. I dont live in wisconsin i live surrounded by Minnesota but the difference in rent between where on earth i live and a big city like Minneapolis is around $1500 a month. And gas, food, and other costs change as very well. On average atm in Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Iowa gas is 3.49 a gallon. A loaf of bread around $1.09 and a gallon of milk around 3.69.
