You answered my question more or less New Years in NYC. Just check on craigslist! That is where on earth I found an apartment to sublease for my stay! It was time consuming to find one I looked-for, but it's much cheaper than hotels (which are full anyway this time of year!) Good luck searching, surely you will find something. I hold keys contained by hand and put down a deposit. I be leery about subleasing as I've never done it beforehand and it isn't common where on earth I live, but after a week of calling and losing some places due to my hesitation, I bookish that subleasing is so common and contained by such demand surrounded by NYC, people commonly sublease sight unseen! You can also post on Craigslist that you are contained by need of housing during a guaranteed time frame as well. Good luck and delight in your trip to the Big Apple! :)
