Is nearby a emergency for Residential Architects contained by New Orleans?

I am a residential architect in Boston thinking of moving to New Orleans beside my wife. I specialize in designing surrounded by historical styles, so NOLA seems similar to it would be a good fit. I assume that Post-Katrina at hand is a lot of construction going on. Does anyone know if firms are hiring? I haven't have much luck finding job address list online. Thanks!
