What's it like living near - is it expensive and what are the top tourist things to do .

I loved San Antonio when I visited near a few years ago! (I hope you're talking roughly the one in Texas!) It's not that expensive. I guess the "top" tourist attraction would logically be The Alamo! Followed closely by the riverwalk (and the boat tours you can go on). There's also a great music scene here, and wonderful restaurants.

Been a lot of years but I really like San Antonio. Didn't like the humidity but they have a great highwaysystem compared to places like LA and Phoenix., Lots of museums art gallories, you aren't that far from the Gulf and great camp. Like I said, I don't like hot humid weather but other sagacious San Antone is a great place, great food, beautiful women.
