I live on Oahu. Check out Waikiki and Ala Moana. The beaches are nice. tanning or I don`t know swimming during the noon. See the hours of darkness shows in Waikiki. If u similar to hiking climb Diamond Head. the sight are amazing. Go Haleiwa. buy some shave rime from Matsumoto's Shave Ice, my uncle owns the store. there are so much to see contained by Oahu. There is Big Island, Maui and kauai. Big Island has the volcano which u can see at darkness or day time.
I've be to Hawaii quite a few times, specifically Maui. This olden summer we went to the big island and spent some time within volcanoes national park and going up to the observatory on mauna kea, which was one of the most amazing experiences of my existence. On Maui, definitely step on the road to Hana and call in Lahaina.
I have be many times and every island have the most wonderful sights. Oahu has Pearl Harbor, Hanama creek, diamond head, the beach, and the list go on. Maui, the big island and Kauai all enjoy something to see from Great whale watching, volcano's movie sets, and Yep, even Elvis,LOL. Everyone should go to Hawaii at lowest possible once in in that life. Most jump back plentiful times.
Hawaii is great!
Oahu is the most crowded and the most tourist of adjectives the island. But one should see Waikiki, USS Arizona, the Polynesian Cultural center, North Shore etc. at least once.
Maui is the most expensive of adjectives the islands. It seems that it's the place for rich tourists. We be there for a Wedding later year and friends & family from other islands be saying how much more expensive next the other islands. Nice but you can find just as nice places on other islands. Hana is hugely nice, but the road can get impressively crowded at times.
My vote is for the Big Island. It has everthing the other islands enjoy and more (except the night energy & cheesy tourist stuff of Oahu). It has more environment area than adjectives the other islands combined. Plus it has an live Volcano! Until you see the lava for yourself, no TV, movie, photos or someones description will do it justice. It is truly awesome!
Check it out, you will not feel sorry!
Yeah! I live there. So frequent things to do. Waikiki is da best place! Yes, it is expensive though. Waikiki has so tons beaches next to tourists though. I think to step to a beach (and I indicate a REAL Hawaiian beach) there desires to be white sands and a few populace along with the rest of your clan and friends. The best beaches are within the North Shore. They have the best surf, too.
Been to all the islands. Maui have this great blow hole. There is no sign for it. So ask a local how to find it. Also visit "The 7 Sacred Falls" also know as "Oheo Gultch". Beautiful dampen falls that pour into the ocean. Very reheat and safe to swim contained by. What ever you do; don't miss the turn off. The Hana hiway is not something you ever want to experience.
Ohau have a really good luau "Paradise Cove" is the best.
Kauai is vey pretty. Horseback riding on the ranch where on earth "Jurassic Park" was film. Silver Falls Ranch. Be sure to see the Waimea Canyon. Breath taking. The big island has the volcano. You can drive right down to the lava flow. Well pretty close anyway. I hope this be a help.
Hawaii is the American Vacation Spot!!
yes i love hawaii, striking beaches, upright food. its pretty expensive though.
i didn't walk to honolulu, but i was within maui. of course the beach are a must see, and most days can and should be enjoyed on the shoreline sipping a cold drink. after all, it is a time off. but driving up to mt. Haleakala is pretty amazing. feels resembling a different world up there above the clouds.
