Considering that I grew up in Mt. Airy and currently live contained by Oxford circle, I think I am pretty suited to answer your sound out. Mt. Airy is a really great area. There are two section, East and West Mt. Airy. I was raise on the East side which is East of Germantown Ave. There are many close knit, tree feint neighborhoods. Some of the neighborhoods on the west side of Stenton Ave. are racially mixed and have a combination of single and twin homes. On the east side of Stenton are some nice neighborhoods and a mixture of twin and row homes. Mt. Airy is terrifically big. The homes range from 90K to 500K (depending on what you are looking for).
Oxford Circle is surrounded by the Northeast. I consider it a melting pot of adjectives races. At this time, in attendance is a very huge Asian population in Oxford Circle. It is thoroughly convenient to shopping and entertainment. There is a combo of home types, mostly row, but you will find some twins and singles thrown in the mix. The houses average from 70K - 250k. I am not markedly familiar beside Mayfair besides the fact that it's on the other side of Roosevelt Blvd.
