Question something like chicago public transportation?
I moved here a few months ago but I am sick of the traffic and high gas prices so I would similar to to get a monthly bus outdo, but I was wondering if this also includes the train? Also, how far does the transportation jump. For example is there anyway to find out to Schaumburg by bus and/or train?

you can take train to arlington height and then hook up beside shuttles / buses ?? depends on where within Sch. you need to travel. I know some folks have bought really cheap cars (like the 200.00 type ), capture just liability cheap insurance next to high subtract. and leave them parked at the station to rob to / from their jobs surrounded by Schaumburg.

the bus elapse is 75 for the month, it includes all cta/pace buses & trains. at hand are many tons lines of the bus and el, you can call rta 836 7000 and request a map and they will distribute u one (or many places downtown enjoy them free too) that will show you how far out they go. schaumburg im not sure, but i come across to remember a while back i took the bus out in attendance for an interview. good luck. and response to Chicago neighbor. metra is not included with this leave behind
Metra goes to Schaumburg. That's not duplicate pass as CTA, so it'll cost you extra.
You can take Metra to Schaumburg and when you buy a monthly surpass you can link up the bus too for $36 (is what it be a while back) I haven't checked in a while.
Bus and EL are on the same surpass. That includes all the train lines you see on the map (red, blue, green etc.) Getting to Schaumburg is a lost cause. Perhaps, thieve the blue line to River Road (Rosemont) and acquire a friend to pick you up.
