What small, pleasant cities are just round the corner Los Angeles California?
Answers:
mONTEREY PARK
Seal Beach or Sunset Beach. They still enjoy that small beach town quality to them.
Huntington Beach is only cool the first 4 blocks from the shoreline and after that it's BORING. They have also torn down adjectives the cool old buildings that be along the coast and put up crap that looks like they are within Irvine or Rancho Cucamonga.
Check out Filmore. Then within is Conejo Valley. Flintridge.
a few of my favorite cities:
Burbank
Santa Monica
Malibu
Hermosa Beach
Calabasas
Tarzana
Huntingon Beach
Sure the beach cities and areas west of LA are nice but you hold to be LOADED to live there.
I speak if you want a more average town you should check out places in the south creek region - torrance, gardena, carson
or if you do have the money- palos verdes nouns.
South bay is a upright part of the county because of the middle location, moderate weather, and you can usually find a place to suit your needs no concern what your economic situation is close to.
I grew up Pacific Palisades which was an awesome place to grow up... and I agree the coastal city are nice: Malibu, Santa Monica, Marina Del Rey, Playa Del Rey, Huntington Beach, etc... when I be very babyish we lived in the Altadena / Mt. Lowe / Pasadena nouns which is a great place for families.
Coastal Cities - Brentwood, Marina del Rey, Manhattan Beach
Canyons Towns - Topanga, Calabasas
in LA - Coolest next to a mix of vibrant coastal and pleasant would be Santa Monica, it's the wildest though out of the List, but still laid back, cleaner and safer.. but any of those town/cities would be a choice place to live, pretty much a Dream Place to beckon home, perfect weather, laid hindmost, still plenty of cultural and entertaining things nearby.Good luck.Peace
There are like mad of good suggestions already...I'll try to roll some cities that haven't already been mentioned.
1.Simi Valley-a dainty city in south Ventura county near a hometown atmosphere...I've heard it's a great place to bump up a family too.
2.Arcadia/Monrovia (nearby respectively other and similar)-nice, clean, not dangerous, more of a small town feel within certain neighborhoods. Most of the year, Monrovia have a town party complete near craft/food booths and rides every Friday night surrounded by the middle of Old Town.
3.Ventura-Pretty far north, but a nice coastal town that is more affordable than Santa Monica or Manhattan Beach.
4.El Segundo-There are profoundly of businesses here, but I've heard in that are come really cute neighborhoods as well.
inglewood...try it.
Simply the Best. Torrance is your place. Close to the water and Great Community.
