Delays at Philadelphia airport?
We are traveling Labor day weekend next to a layover in Philly. I've hear that Philadelphia international is notorius for delays, and we are on a tight calendar (have to catch a cruise ship surrounded by Florida)...should I be concerned? If everything is on time, we should enjoy 3 hours to get to the boat.

Philly isn't oo fruitless at all. Thesepeople are stupid. Philly is one of the best manage airports in the country. Labor daytime it does get tight but the longest rescheduling that i ever had contained by philly was an hour. Phlly is deeply good beside schedualing
Philadelfia is notorios for that but it adjectives depends on the weather. There have be storm and hurricane warnings for the Caribbean so I'd be watching the weather.
Philadelphia airport is one of the worst manage airports in the USA. For God's sake I hope you are not using USAirways. If you are at hand just connecting next I suspect your troubles will be minimal.
The security checkpoints are back up beyond your imagination. Yes you can count on delays. The plane will usually push spinal column on time but it will sit on the taxiway waiting for clearance.

1. what terminal are you coming in on and departure out from
2. What the weather is like that hours of daylight
*****if your connecting terminal is nearby and the weather is nice you should be fine.it's not a really big airport.it's only awkwardly shaped (depending on connecting terminals) and can be really busy on holiday weekends if the weather is bad (but that's most airports though)
