Moving to NYC?

i want to move to nyc, i came across websites similar to rentasy.com and nycrooms4rent.com saying they own rooms for $125-$150 a week and no credit check.
Are these companies legit? Has anyone gotten a room from them?

that is hostel close to a bed in a crappy neighborhood, you own to shared many relations in a room.
If they are, after the rooms must be lousy or in a big crime area. Rent within NYC is thousands per month.
I agree with the final post, that is a hostel, check beside craigslist for legit apartment to rent. Also consider renting an apartment outside of Manhattan, in the outer boroughs, or within Jersey or Westchester. Manhattan apartments starts off at $1000 a month a dance up from there.
