How come general public from here brag roughly speaking "the traffic"?

i dont think anyone "brags" , why would someone brag give or take a few that..but its awful during rush hour. 59 is horrible
The traffic in Houston is horrible especially 1-10 and 290.
Sometimes yes it does build you feel better. I much to some extent live in Miami a city next to the 5th worst traffic in the country than let say St. Louis or Minneapolis. Most of the time cities near bad traffic are big cities, big, major cities. So when living in a big city you own big traffic problems. When I get stuck contained by traffic in Miami at 12am I consider to myself, well it sucks that here is traffic at midnight but hey at least I am contained by Miami, it reminds you of how awesome it is to live in a city close to Miami.

Cities resembling that are filled next to pollution and smog. I'm from pittsburgh which has have a reputation for being dirty from the steel mills. It have become one of the cleaner cities in the nation. That is something to brag give or take a few. In the south there seem to be a common notion that "we can do no wrong". With houston individual the biggest oil import port city in the country, it's not surprising that the locals regularly boast about the volume of vehicle they have on their roads compared to read aloud the backwoods in NWPA.
Think roughly speaking it with empathy though.. if you spent forever trying to get hold of from place to place, traffic being the story of your duration.. you might spend enough time contained by your car to digit out how to justify it and I don`t know even look at it as a good point too.
Do they brag more or less having traffic or not have traffic? Because not having traffic IS something to brag nearly!
But if they brag about have traffic, yes, it probably makes them be aware of like they are within a big city.
And in response to the answer above, why do citizens from Miami always voice their city is the best? Especially those who don't live there anymore, and those who enjoy only ever be to New York and Miami in their lives?
