Has anyone stayed at the Quality Inn within Vegas? Is near a shuttle going to LAS from here?
I'm going to Vegas for the first time and we have fixed to stay at a less expensive hotel, The Quality Inn, have anybody ever stayed there formerly? Is it true that Quality Inn offers a shuttle service to and from the LAS and also the Vegas strip? Is the shuttle service free? And do they hold shuttles every hour or do we have to reserve for one? Thanks.

A schedule of "free" shuttles
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/transport... >click on, free shuttles, then the hotel(s) you're interested within, then LVA Map click here. This will provide you all of the info on their free shuttle, times, locations, etc.
If you want to stay at a nice but inexpensive hotel try the El Cortez. Even though it's not on the above roll of free hotel shuttles, they do have one, but, it with the sole purpose runs every other hour on the even hour from the EC to McCarran and you have to agree to them know the day in the past if you want a ride.

The EC tower rooms are very nice, the "Pavillion" rooms are okay(nothing special) only someplace clean to sleep, and you do enjoy to walk up one flight of stairs to obtain to them. IMO they are actually more convenient than taking the elevator.
The individual problem I have near the EC is "no in-room safe" - After the Golden Nugget the Tower rooms at the EC are the nicest & largest in downtown.
The Pavillion rooms "generally" run $30-$35 Sun/Thur the tower rooms are within the $40-$59 range.
You can also nick the CAT bus from McCarran to downtown for $1.25. The best way to bring DT from McCarran is to go to "Ground Level Transportation 0". Catch any the #108 Paradise or #109 Maryland Pkwy North bus, one or the other will stop frequently and take you to downtown contained by around 45 minutes(less time than you would wait to capture a taxi and afterwards pay $20-$25). For the EC, capture off at Fremont Street and waddle one block East.

i would check with the hotel and ask re : shuttles .
i do not know where on earth is the hotel you speak of. find out if they have a shuttle . if they do hold a shuttle sometimes driver will take you extra places if you tip them .
can rental is pretty cheap in that . but if you plan to spend a lot of time within the strip / parking is difficult and some places charge a fee to park within garage. better to taxi to and from where on earth you want to go .
various hotels office shuttle services for free / also downtown here is a people mover contrivance in some parts
hold a great time
