hi! im looking to relocate to hawaii and am looking to rent an apartment or even sublet one.

within are many places newly depends where you want to live. The food is a bit more but if you can cook yourself you rescue alot of money so its not bad.
The cheapest apartment/studio you will find will be at smallest $600 if not more. That is the cost of living surrounded by Paradise.

What island you moving to? If you are going to Oahu book you a hotel for a few days and than enjoy a look around. Are you going to stay in Waikiki? Cause the rentals enjoy signs on the boards all the time. Its other a lot of rentals avaliable. Some run your credit some dont. Most require a securtiy deposit and 1st months rent.
