Love the area. The greenness, freshness and the certainty that there is for a while bit of everything around in vocabulary of mountains, the ocean, lake and forests. It does rain a moment or two too much sometimes (ok, lots of times) but I did evaluate moving away and I just couldn't do it.
I determined what I entail to do is visit other places, but other come back here! I other take a big, gaping breath of fresh, cold air whenever I deplane at Sea-Tac.

If I could alter one thing it would be mass transit. We sure do obligation it. Light rail is coming, but it's an issue that's be a problem for years and years.
Personally I love the nouns...I am a transplant from the midwest (Chicago), and I really think the Seattle nouns is one of the most beautiful cities within the US. I think the city get a bad rap for other being drizzling, but it's honestly not as bad as population think. Most days you see the sun, whether it be for 10 minutes or for the intact day. Don't gain me wrong, it rains here, and it does precipitation quite a bit, but it is not constantly raining. The one complaint I do own about the nouns is that in the months of November and December it get dark super impulsive, especially if it is cloudy that day it'll return with dark starting at 3 and that get rough sometimes, but now it stays pale till 8 and it's only gonna go and get better. The city is full of great things to do, and is one of the most eclectic cities I've ever been contained by. The people out here are a touch more standoffish than the midwest, but I suppose that is to be expected. I love the mountains and the river. On clear days it you'd be hard pressed to find a more good-looking part of the country! It's a great place to live, great place to work. Seattle proper is for a while pricey for me and my wife, so we live to the south, but it's great if you want to go into the city for stuff to do, here area plethora of option. Anywho, I'm sorry my answer is all over the place, I love it out here! If you resembling to do stuff outdoors, this is the place for you!! Even if you don't, the sheer beauty of the nouns is enough to gross someone love the place!
I LOVE Seattle...moved here 15 years ago from San Diego and I'll never leave. It is such a wonderful region, the people are really nice, and I love the city (downtown).

What I don't close to? Spring in a "La Nina" year similar to this year. Damn, I wish it would heat up up already!! It's MAY next week and we have snow last weekend! Enough already!! But it's not similar to this every year, so we grin and bear it, knowing that summer is coming.

The night can get remarkably, very long within winter. Around the winter solstice there are 16 hours of fogginess and 8 hours of light. Ugh. But, next, you look on the bright side, and around the middle of June there are 16 hours of daylight and 8 hours of dimness! It can make it difficult to catch the kid into bed, though, when it's still light out at 10:30pm.
i was born n raise in Yakima, and I loved the atmosphere, the cultural differences, the food market. Didnt like?? the cold! Loved the rainfall, but the cold and the smell of the dead shrimp within the sun... ewwwwww!
