Does anyone know what type of neigborhood is North Hills, California?
Is it a good place to live? is it risk-free?

Born and raised North Hills. There are some really horrible gang infested areas, basically anywhere east of Sepulveda Blvd. is not not dangerous and is raunchy. The further west you move from Sepulveda Blvd. the nicer it gets.
But similar to everywhere in L.A. adjectives the neighborhoods just come across to run together, you really do not know where one neighborhood starts and another ends.
Also, if your going to be renting an apt. anywhere surrounded by North Hills I would say NO. They are adjectives in bleak areas.
Check out Northridge or Chatsworth. These are much nicer and safer neighborhoods.
