Disney World!?

Hey everyone! I'm going to disney world in a week. I've never be before, and I'd love any tips you own. I'm going with my family-my brother and I are within our early teens. We are staying at the Wilderness Lodge. We will be at hand from November 16 to the 20th. Will Christmas decorations be up? Thank you soo much for any tips or information about anything Disney.

Answers:
we go 2 years ago---the week after thanksgiving, and yes, the decorations were up and it be GORGEOUS. We stayed at Old Key West. Tips? Go to the library and get a guide (Birnbaums? I reflect on?) Have fun!
There probably will be up some but mostly after thanksgiving. #1 Tip, You can get customized map (They help) just move about to Disney Site.

#2 DONT GO TO PARKS WITH EXTRA MAGIC HOURS STAY AWAY they will be busy

#3 Start in the spinal column of the park and work your way up, Take supremacy of Train in Magic Kingdom,

#4 Bad Weather? Great truly to Visit Animal Kingdom; Animals are more out when its cooler, damp

#5 Dont try to do to much, it can be stressful

#6 Take supremacy of fast overhaul, Rides that you need to use briskly pass for sure (Test Drive*, Space Mountain, Expedition Everest*, Soarin*)

* MUST GO EARLY BELEIVE ME

Theres alot more but again dont over exhaust yourself, rob advantage of the transportation.

Disney is the best but it also can be the worst, most relations that say they abhorrence disney is because they didnt plan it right. One way to plan it correctly is to sort the Customized maps on what you must see and attack it, again other start in the vertebrae of the park and work your way up.

Must See: Stunt Show, Mission to Mars(Extreme Ride), Finding Nemo the musical and much more
This is soooo werid because im leavin Saturday to go! (17th) The best tip i own is to buy "The Unoffical Guide To Walt Disney World 08" It will help you tons!
I went for a week contained by August, and it was great. I stayed on the Disney Resort. Music. I own been be in the Fall, but I am sure you will enjoy just as much fun. I consider, they will have Christmas Decorations up. Have fun.
If you've not made your dinner reservations, do that very soon. Gettting a meal next to a server is almost impossible without one, unless you are really flexible next to eating times and restaurant choices. 407/wdw/dine is the number to name.

http://www.allearsnet.com/menu/menus.htm will have a schedule of menus to help you resolve.

http://disboards.com/ is also a great resource for tips and planning. Have a super trip!!
hi,
resourcefully i'm glad you are coming.the best thing to do at this point is to jump to www.waltdisneyworld.com.its an interactive site that will help you better plan your trip.you can even choose what you want to do within each park and print out an iteneary in the past you come.quick park highlights.animal empire dont miss the safari, mgm the tower of terror, trickery kingdom averything but pirates of the carribean is cool, epcot soarin and question paper track.only hose down park open is blizzard sand.its a little chilly.weather change every day 75-80 degree.enjoy hold a great time!!
Wow - it's a bit deferred to be planning now, but be in motion to the library and get a book give or take a few DisneyWorld - there's an "unofficial" one that's very apt. It's a wonderful place, but there's a lot to see and a great deal to know about.

Hope you hold a lot of fun!!
I don't know if Christimas decs. will be up. They are prolly goin to be up after Thanksgiving. but if you travel to disneys website they will have it posted! Right in a minute in Florida this week it have been within the 40's. But today it has warm up so it will be okay for swimming. If it is still cold then don't verbs because only the mornings are cold after it warms up to be within the 80's. Hope you have a fun time surrounded by Florida! Also don't worry going on for rain for olden times week and a half it hasn't precipitation so I think u'll be lucky and not own n e rain.
Yes the decor should be contained by place. Take advantage of the extra tricks hours in respectively park, especially those at night. As you enter respectively park pick up a map and check out which rides have in haste passes. You can singular have one ride at a time, once you use that vigorous pass procure another for a different ride. Your room ticket, park ticket and if you purchased the meal plan you dinnertime ticket will all be like peas in a pod card. Bring a lanyard with a plastic sleeve to hold the card in, it will let go you the worry of carrying it. You may want to consider bringing walkie-talkies so that you can split up and come together back up at a next time, and never loose contact.

We went ultimate year November 18-26 and had a great time, but we prearranged adjectives our meals. It be very crowded so bring an Ipod, spectator sport boy, book or something to do during the lines they will be long. You have great res truants nearby at your hotel and it is beautiful. YOU ARE VERY LUCKY.

If you own the dinning plan go to www.waltdisneyworld.com and check out the dinning option or call 1-407WDWDine and see what is available for meal. You will be surprised how hard it is to attain in to a form down meal.

There be a cold front last year and we be very cold so pack a jacket, simply in covering.

I seen that another answer tell you to avoid the extra magic hours, but you may want to re-evaluate that advice, lone guest on Disney property can be there and the crowds do tight out. Go to your favorite ride just earlier closing the lines will be very low as crowds organizer to the gates. Rides run until the minute the park closes.
Yes, it should be warm adequate to go swimming, 10 hours of daylight forecast shows it should be mid to high 70's next to nite time lows in the illustrious 50's. Yes the Christmas decorations will be up since annual events begin on the 12th (see link). Definitely jump see the Osborne Family Spectacle of Lights, they are marvelous. As far as tips are concerned, relax, don't rush or you will miss the magic of Disney. Try and call in downtown Disney at nite, the lights there are special too.

i go to florida last month and it did precipitation the first wk for about a hour a hours of daylight! but it was still really hot, xmas decs should be up and they hav get some amazing xmas shops especially in downtown disney. label sure u get to the parks for space times especially magic dominion, i spant 13hrs there and still have to go vertebrae for more! the disney transportation is brilliant and runs every 10 mins to all the parks so park hopping is graceful to do. hav a great time!
First sour, I've been to FL eight times.
Here are some tips:
1. Even though it's November, it'll still be pretty reheat out. Wear clothes permitting to the weather.
2. Bring comfortable walking shoes;I'd stay away from flip-flops within the parks, you'll have to stride a lot!
3. It is enormously humid; if it's hot expect to sweat! Buy fans, and drink lots of wet while you're there.
4. From my personal expirience: If it rain, get a rainfall poncho. They're a little expensive, but when I go in finishing July (oh my gosh was it hot!) it rain every single day for at lowest possible an hour.

Enjoy your trip!
How exciting! Yes, adjectives of the Christmas decor and festivites will be going on, so you will be able to relish those. I recommend visiting the Magic Kingdom more rapidly in your break, as it will become very croweded the closer you acquire to Thanksgiving. Mzoppo gave you some excellent tips. Too affix to those tips, purchase Crocs sandals. They are excellent for Disney parks! They are lightweight, anti-microbial, comfy, and great even on water rides. If you arrive behind time (i.e. after 11pm), do not check your luggage with the Magical Express. Check your own stacks, load them onto the Magical Express Bus yourself and thieve them to your room. Average time for bags to bring back from the Disney service to your room is 3 hours. And if arriving late, you'll want to brush your teeth and hit the hay. So something to consider.
The changeable season is typically over this time of year, but it is Florida, so be prepared and purchase rain ponchos for everyone contained by your group and have them on you when you stop by the parks. Weather will be a bit cooler, but check www.weather.com to be sure of current weather conditions. Disney keeps their pools at a comfortable 82 degree at all times, so if you don't mind the brief moment of cold when you bring out of the pool, you should enjoy swimming! Beaches will be colder, however, and may not be best to swim surrounded by this time of year.
