New Yorkers who pilfer the subway.?
How would I get from Grand Central to Times Square, or if you know a closer station, The Broadhurst Theatre?
Answers:
Take the shuttle from grand inside to times square.
You can take the shuttle or you can give somebody a lift the M42 bus. Get the bus going west (toward the Javits Center) on 42nd and Park Avenue; get rotten the bus on Seventh Avenue and 42nd - walk north on Seventh Avenue to 44th Street and turn west.
Or, if the weather is virtuous and you can walk partially a mile, walk west on 42nd Street to Broadway and turn north to 44th Street - the hike takes from ten to fifteen minutes.
Enjoy the show.
Yep. The Shuttle is exactly the train that will transport one from GCT to TS (or vice versa).
Definitely the shuttle. Follow the grey circled "S" signs that lead you to it.
i'm assuming you would be coming within on Metro-North? (otherwise you'd want to take a subway file that went directly to the Theater District...)
the best answer is WALK.
the Broadhurst is on West 44th merely west of 7th Avenue / Broadway, and all you call for to do is to get out of GCT on the East 44th Street / Vanderbilt Avenue side, which you draw from to just by walking up the regal staircase on the western side of the Main Concourse.
then basically walk westwards, crossing Madison, 5th, 6th Avenues, next the very subsequent intersection is Times Square / 7th Avenue / Bway itself. it takes no longer than 10-15 minutes, and by the time you move about through the trouble of going into the subway, waiting, riding, and getting out again, you will have already walk there by foot.
reclaim your money and your time.
Times Square shuttle.
The 42nd st. Shuttle is the quickest passageway to go. Yur other opportunity would be the 7 train which also connects GCT and TS With one more stop within between, 5AV-Bryant Park.
