Disney Extra Magic Hours - Worth it or not?
I am staying at a Disney hotel in May. We own gone to Disney many frequent times but never stayed on Disney property. I know what the extra hours are but I am curious if they are truely beneficial. We will be there the week since memorial day (leaving Friday of memorial weekend) so it won't be as crowded the days we are here. Is it it worth it to go to the parks beside the extra magic hours or are those parks more crowded because so abundant Disney guests are there and is it better to avoid those parks on those days?? First appendage experience from people would be nice. Thanks!

Yes it is worth it, but remember you also grasp free transportation and can take ascendancy of the dinning option, a large amount in its self. Extra Magic Morning hours have about 1/10 the crowd and hours of darkness hours about 1/4. It really is worth it. Here is an example: second year we were in attendance November 18-25 lines to rides were capably over an hour. During extra magic hours we stood surrounded by line for smaller amount than twenty minutes per ride. Some rides we walked right contained by, and others we were competent to remain on with out getting out of our form.
Don't fool yourself - Disney is other busy and busier whenever there is a holiday. It's definately advantageous to pilfer a go at the Extra Magic Hours. If you abhor it don't do it again but it's worth it to give it a shot! :)

Totally worth it, I can't imagine doing Disney short the EMH and still doing all the big rides. Honestly, it may be busier than you are anticipating for the time spell you're looking at. Nothing like the middle of summer logically, but still fairly busy, so lines could be a concern.
I saw another comment axiom they prefer evening EMH hours, but I'm going to have to strongly disagree. There are SO masses people at the EMH evening hours that if you stay and linger for the crowds to thin out, you're going to be comatose tired by the time you get out of within. If you're not going with children and you're a hours of darkness person and don't mind that it medium you'll probably be too tired for the morning opening the subsequent day, next go ahead, but I much prefer to move about in the morning and catch to all the highest rides, whether it's riding them or getting a fastpass for later, because there's track less of a queue. Then you can start hitting up the smaller rides while non-EMH people are basically getting in and heading for the big rides.
Here's some tips that I've found vastly handy as a former co-worker and long-time visitor:
-If you're here at night and one of the parks is have an EMH night, don't dance to that one!! It will be wayyy busier than any of the others, not even worth it (it's the morning hours that make extra trickery hours worth the money)
-Definitely go to the precipitate morning EMH. Get on your favorite rides and grab fastpasses for the ones you can't seize to during that first hour. Once you've done all of your favorites, lead to another park and get away from the crowd.
There are other benefits to staying on Disney property. There's the Disney buses that can lug you anywhere on the property. And honestly, Disney hotels just hold an entirely different feel to them. They enjoy a magic that off-site hotels famine. At least endow with Disney hotels a try. If you don't think it's worth it, don't do it again...but if you're a Disney lover it's definitely something you have need of to do at least once.

I own done both. We never feel resembling we are missing out by not having the EMH when we are off-site. However, when we stay on-site, we do savour them. As long as you stay for the whole time, bring there when they open out for the am EMH and stay until they close for the evening EMH, I think you can draw from a lot out of them. Have a great trip!
They are definitely worth it. You can see so much of the park after most of the other general public have departed. Most people don't fully rob advantage of the Extra Magic Hours, so it won't be crowded.
It depends on what Extra Magic Hours are offered. For example, some parks enjoy morning EMHs and others offer evening EMHs. Morning EMHs stuff up fast and that dedicated park is busy and packed next to resort crowds for about the first 4 hours. But next it begins to hanger-on out. Evening EMHs, at least contained by my experience, have other been completely worth it and never consistency as crowded as the morning hours.
So all contained by all, yes I believe they are worth it! Just check Disney's EMH diary on their website to know which parks are offering which hours so you can plan accordingly!
