A strength clinic for the uninsured?
I just moved here from Atlanta. I don't enjoy health insurance, and I used to step to a clinic that was something like $100 for exam then just about $80 to have lab work done, so it's not a free clinic..I am looking for one similar to this contained by Chicago? Can anyone tell me a first name I am not having much luck inquiring.
I live in North Chicago.
Thanks so much.

If possible, try to receive some health insurance. You can check out different companies on the internet. United Healthcare, PacifiCare, Aetna, Guardian, Great West, etc. I enjoy no ties with any of these companies and near might be other companies that I didn't think of. Be sure you find out how much copayment and deductible is involved near any particular plan (not newly the monthly premium). Some plans have a low monthly premium, but deductibles as soaring as $4000. Meaning that you have to take-home pay the first $4000. Insurance is important, because if you return with really sick, the most expensive part is not the visit to the doctor. It will be the bills from the hospital, their intensive care element, their x-ray dept., etc. I don't know about the prices, but you might even try calling individual doctor's office for a check up and some labs.
You could go to cook county clinic or department of condition which have rediculous waiting times. Another preference is going to Mount Sinai Hospital they have plenty of programs for the uninsured. If your looking for a clinic for such things as physicals and sick visit, you can check their counter part. Access they enjoy clinics throughout the city. Hope this helps.
