7 Hours surrounded by LA, how should we stuff contained by our time?
My family and I own 7 hours in LA on the road home from a vacation. We arrive contained by LA at 4pm and our next nouns is not until 11.15 pm, international departure. If it matters it happen to be a Friday in mid January.
We are looking for something we can do for the 5 or so hours that that would bequeath us. Ideally something near to the airport as I don't want to risk one stuck in traffic and missing the flight.
2 Adults + 1 8yr ripened + 1 4yr old.
Perhaps even somewhere we can stir and have dinner and hold a walk around might be ok.

Try driving around he city, or visit venice seaside. if that doesn't work go to an amusement park if time is on your side
The kids would savour Santa Monica Pier. Another choice is Hollywood Blvd. It is a little dirty sometimes but the Holloywood stroll of Fame and the Chinese Theater is there. Disney owns the El Capitan theater, which is currently showing Enchanted. This is a great theater and would provide a pleasant memory. This is surrounded by the same nouns
Well considering you will be contained by traffic for at least two hours only just to get to a restaraunt.you wont know how to do much.
you could progress outside and enjoy the smog
I work at LAX. When you arrive you will be on the lower plane. Each terminal has a Travelers Aid Booth close to the bags claim area. They hold a book with lots of fun things to do between flights. And transportation is confident. You can go to Hollywood, Santa Monica, Venice Beach, a precinct, the movies, etc. Check with them. If the booth is uniform, go to the subsequent terminal. There are 8 terminals and 8 T.A. booths.
