Wha tis the best channel to take to JFK from W 18th street within Manhattan for a 755p flight (on a Tuesday)?
I have a flight disappearing at 755p on a Tuesday and I will be coming from Manhattan. What is the best and fastest way to bring back to JFK in time for my flight - and what time should I exit? (No bags to check or anything. Thanks

I agree next to the two above posters (favor taking LIRR to Jamaica -- LIRR has set diary to Jamaica, trip only take 20 mins and it is the way I other go) but you still should leave near plenty of time for your flight. Even without kit you still will have to linger on line for the protection checkpoint. If you manage to return with through that quickly, hang down out, read a magazine or have a drink or dinnertime before your flight.
You could also stop the E train on 14th street. That would take you to Jamaica station. Then you could acquire the airtrain from there to JFK.
If it's an international flight you stipulation to be there at 5:55 which technique you'll be going at the height of rush hour. To skip the traffic (and release a few dollars) I'd take the Long Island Railroad from Penn Station to Jamaica Station where on earth you transfer to the AirTrain (the monorail that runs to the airport terminals). It will solely cost you $12 ($7 for the train if you buy the ticket at the station before you board and $5 on a metrocard for the Airtrain). Get to Penn Station by hackney cab or take the subway (the #1 train uptown from 18th St./7th Ave. to 34th St./Penn Station).
I don't know where on earth on W. 18th Street you'll be starting but the 1 train stops at W. 18th and 7th Avenue. Just take the 1 train uptown to Penn Station and verbs to the uptown E train and take that to the Sutphin Blvd-Archer Ave stop. Then verbs to the Airtrain that will take you to respectively terminal at JFK. I would leave around 5pm so that you're at the airport surrounded by plenty of time.
