Looking for a angelic Kid-Friendly Hotel contained by Vegas?
Kids are 9 and 11. Would like to save them away from the smokey casinos as much as possible (ha ha ha). We are goign to a wedding where on earth the ceremony is at the Rio and the reception is at Excalibur. Cost is not an issue. Just want to keep my kids delighted.

I would recommend Excalibur. We always stay within, although this will be the first year we are taking our kids with us. Excalibur is affordable, kids stay free, and they own a whole gaming nouns in the vault. They also have the Spongebob 4D ride. In my feelings, they are on the best (nicest) corner of the strip
Circus Circus does have deeply of great stuff, and you can access all of it lacking actually staying nearby. It is in a shadier part of a set of the strip, and isn't as accessible to everything on the strip as Excalibur is. I have hear many reviews that said the hotel be dirty, and it stinks so they wouldn't stay there.
As far as MGM, they charge for kids to stay surrounded by the room, so you end up paying the price of 2 rooms for 1 room near 4 people. So if you are going to do that, you may as economically get one room for you, and one neighbouring room for your kids. I don't really think within is that much for the kids to do there, any.
It's an easy, scenic totter from Excalibur to Bally's where you can hop on the free shuttle to the Rio. We close to eating at the Rio buffet, and be extremely happy to find that in that was a free shuttle (you should tip the driver).

Everyones comment here is true but maybe you should checkout the NYNY hotel. Its a nicer hotel consequently Circus Circus and your kids will enjoy watching the roller coaster step around the hotel. There is also alot of other things in the nouns for kids.
Circus Circus has other been the relatives hotel. BUT, all the hotels want your business so I would do a explore on the internet and see what fun things they have to set aside your children.

The Excalibur has moderately a bit for kids to do, and most of the Strip casinos have excellent nouns filtering systems in our time.
I would want to preserve the kids close to the wedding endeavours. The Excalibur has a Mid evil focus and a fun dinner show. There were jugglers and other kid activies for them to see on the arcade even. There is a Sponge Bob 4D ride available and Midway video games.

IMO the Orleans is far and away the best faimily resort in Las Vegas. They own something(many actually) for every member of the family circle.

The Orleans has a free shuttle(s) to the Gold Coast which is across the street from Rio and to the strip.
2nd on my register would be Excalibur. The 9yo would probably enjoy the Fantasy Faire Midway and both would own fun at "Gameworks" , which is nearby(next to MGM)
You might want to visit Circus Circus(Adventuredome) for a couple of hours, but correct lord don't stay there!
You might dispense some consideration to the Luxor. It's connected to Excalibur via monorail.

Circus Circus has a integral amusement park in it call the adventure dome... roller coaster, dampen ride you name it.
A full game floor for kids and circus act every half hour.
The pool is nil to write home about, but the games are cool. Neither are the rooms within comparision to the MGM Grand or places like that
Ecalibur also have a whole floor beside games, but not as much as circus circus
You can also take the to M and M store for something to do. It is down by the MGM
