17 year aged - travelling to America?
My boyfriend just started college at Dean college within Boston, MA, and im back contained by England. However, i am planning to visit him this coming spring and stay surrounded by a nearby hotel. Does anyone know if here would be any complications entering the country by myself as a minor? Also with the hotel, would they consent to me stay by myself in a hotel room?? Help!! xxx

I am not sure about getting surrounded by, but I know I had cousins come from England alone, and one be 19, the other two were within their early teens and they have no trouble. I'm assuming knowing you are obviously traveling, some hotels would be inclined to provide you a room, where as they collectively may say no to renting to a minor. Call ahead and explain the situation. I don't ponder either should be much of a problem. Something defining to keep surrounded by mind is that Dean College is not in Boston- it's contained by nearby Franklin, MA which is still a small ways outside of the city so net sure you plan accordingly for your flight and transportation. You'll probably want to be surrounded by Boston so you can see some tourist sites, etc but don't assume you can easily gain from the airport to Dean. Best of luck to you.
The age of majority surrounded by the United States is 18 (and the drinking age is 21), so you may encounter problems. If someone over 18 rents your hotel room you shouldn't have any problem staying alone (you will be alone won't you?)
Is the boy friend the spiteful type? The boys at his college will find your English accent terrifically "sexy". Boston is a rather expensive city., but I'm sure everything can be worked out. Enjoy your call in.
As long as you hold proper papers to enter the country, there should not be a problem. As I work within a hotel myself, there must be a being staying in the room who is at lowest possible 21 years of age. May I suggest that you look into staying at the Youth Hostel that is located on Hemenway Street?
I'm not sure about entering the country as the concluding time I had to come to the US from overseas I be only 12, but I do know that most hotels won't impart a room to a minor. If your parents made the reservation and all that though in attendance shouldn't be any problem.
