The fires can't dance very far into the desert so they other stop. It is so dry, Palm Springs might have its own fire, but it won't come from over the hummock.

It's moving east, but if it isn't put out before it reach I will be more than surprised. There is very a enormously little chance of it reaching palm springs.
I dont give attention to they will. I have a friend contained by Palm Springs and he says the fires are not that close.
