What are the hot tourist spots of Detroit?

Answers:
If you win the chance and want to bring back off the bested path, check out Ferndale and Birmingham. Great shopping and restaurants. The casinos are fun - lots of penny slots. I don't really know if anything surrounded by Detroit is technically "hot" - but if you know where to run you can have fun. If you similar to "80's music" try to get lucky adequate to catch the "Mega80's band" surrounded by Ferndale. Most of the action is within the suburbs. There's excellent shopping at the Twelve Oaks Mall and don't forget IKEA in Canton.
I believe the infamous "Drive-By" carnival ride is in that but make sure you wear your Teflon vests
Cranbrook
the Henry Ford

Well if you are coming this week I would highly recomend the North American Auto Show at Cobo Hall.

Aside from that our largest tourist draws currently are the Detroit Redwings and Pistons (Auburn Hills). The sweet sixteen and final four will be at Ford Field surrounded by mid march.

Detroit offer some fantastic casinos MGM Detroit, Motor City, The Greektown Casino.

There are a few world class museums. The Detroit Institute of Art is showcasing its multi million dollar renovation (Vincent Van Goghs self portrait). Detroit Science Center and the new Detroit Modern Arts Museum.

There are some wonderful venue for live music also. Detroit Symphony, Detroit Opera House, The Fox Theatre, The Fillmore. There is also a large amount of smaller venue featuring local talent. The Magic Stick, St Andrews Hall, The Buzz Bar, and Jacobys.

I hope you wallow in yourself while you are here, and be sure to tell a friend how much fun you have in one of the midwests most cultural cities.
Well right in a minute we have the Auto Show, within is also greektown, a few different casinos, tons of resturants and clubs, there is also the Detroit Zoo. Also Michigan is home to the great lake, They are beautiful, travel just about an hour and half north of detroit and you'll really see some dazzling sights!
Get on the People Mover pick up a map and you can make a complete loop around the city near stops at the Rennaissance Center, Cobo, Greek Town, the Financial District and a couple other I can't quite remember. It costs close to $1 and you can get on and bad. They also have a website and believe you can capture a map to print out
