Answers:

eat pizza, because unless you live surrounded by the tri state area (NY NJ CT) you won't know how to find anything like it anywhere else.

you should get a pass by on the double decker bus and see the city. you can get on and rotten some whenever the urge strikes you. you should see greenwhich village, soho, the meatpacking district (at night), mid-town (rockfeller center) such as the rime rink, saks fifth avenue, st. patrick's church, the MOMA museum, the metropolitan museum.
See the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Then filch a bus (right in front of the museum) down to the Empire State Building on 34th St & 5th Ave. The theater district is on the west side surrounded by the 40s. Downtown is Greenwich Village, Chinatown and Little Italy. Below that is the Wall Street nouns. You can take a ride on the Staten Island transfer (for free I believe). It gives you a great belief of the Statue of Liberty and the NY skyline. There are lots of other museums and theaters to go to if you hold the time and money.
Whatever comes inborn site see, after all it alien york , thing will come your instrument.
