Driving from L.A. to Oceanside...which agency is better?
We plan on coming down the 15 but usually we take the 15 adjectives the way to San Diego, but we're heading to Oceanside. Which highway would be better to use.highway 76 (which looks close to a regular street with traffic lights?) or highway 78 (which requires us to backtrack a bit but does it not enjoy any traffic signals?)? Just wanna know which would be quicker and easier since we'll be driving at night. :)

I-5 S to the 78 E
Any time I travel, I other call the local police, sheriff, or the forest ranger (whover covers that territory) - they know about incidents, construction, discouraging neighborhoods, etc. Words from the wise - I'm a former decoration road manager. Have a respectable and happy leap year!
Depending on the time of time, I'd agree with others that I-5 would promising be the shortest and fastest way. If you shutting up taking the 15, take the 76 into Oceanside. It's give or take a few 18 miles from the 15 to the 5, and only the first few miles are curvy. The 76 is with the sole purpose one lane for the first 10 miles, so it can stack up a bit on weekends. Check the link for traffic updates.
78, from the 15 to the oceanside from the 78 its like 25 minutes. if you are surrounded by la why not take the 5 adjectives the way contained by to oceanside. it takes give or take a few 90 minutes.
whichever is cheapest within gas.
Just help yourself to the 5, it is the quickest and makes the most sense.
15 to 78 would be backtracking just about 20 minutes.. But, there is not a great deal of traffic at night. that should be fine. the 5 go right into oceanside, though, that is really the best track.
I-5?
I'm with Andrew, why wouldn't you purely get on the 5? It make more sense than constantly changing highway to get to Oceanside.
I - 5. Did I miss something ?
