How do I carry from Union Station surrounded by Chicago to the Hilton Chicago on Michagan Ave by public transportation?
Answers:
YOU WALK!
The actual distance is about 1.3 miles .
If want to filch a bus ,walk one block south on Canal St* .to Jackson Ave , shut in the bus which will take you to Michigan Ave and after south crossing Congress Parkway.. The Hilton wil be about a block south of Congress.
*Canal is the western side of the Union Station .
#151 bus at Canal street, up the stairs on the right in the big waiting room--ask someone which door to use.
(the stairs are where on earth Kevin Cosner pulled the baby buggy up contained by The Untouchables)
The bus is only going to stir as far as Adams street, and you need to be 5 blocks further south to Balbo. So any transfer to a #146 (ask the bus driver where), hike or get contained by a cab.
Personally, I would lift a cab from association station to the hotel.
I would take the #28X or the #1 bus which stops right surrounded by front of the Hilton on Michigan...if and only if you are stain during the week. On weekends, I suggest the #126 on Jackson St.
Walk out Union Station to the east side of the building. Catch the No. 1 Jackson Park bus. It will pilfer you right to the front door of the Hilton on Michigan. Ask the bus driver if you're not sure. The entire ride will cost you $2
Voila!
