That was my aspiration, and still is. I quit my job a couple of years ago and needed to do exactly what you are talking roughly speaking here.
Stay in one place for a time and work for a while at hand and then verbs, either camp or staying in motels near weekly rates.

I've done a fair amount of traveling, but not much working.
My reserves have be diminished quite a bit. Finding temp work is harder than I thought it would be. I'm thinking that hackney cab driving might be the way to walk. It's usually a pretty easy opportunity to get and I similar to to drive. Years ago, I was going to pick apples contained by Washington, but ended up working surrounded by the warehouse instead. It was OK.

Manpower and places close to it used to be better than they are now. When I telephone call these temp places they mostly just give an account me to send surrounded by a resume. In big cities, craigslist can be a good source of temp job. Should be anyway. They tend to have seriously of listings, but nothing that really appeals to me for anything reason. But if you are surrounded by LA, you might check out craigslist. Look in the subsection called GIGS.

Right in a minute, I'm trying to get on next to the IRS. They have a center surrounded by Fresno, which I guess is near the internal valley.
Check out www.usajobs.gov. But I don't estimate Fresno is hiring right now. Ogden, Utah is though. But no, I ponder that listing lately closed.

In a few months, the US census bureau will start hiring ancestors for the 10 year census. Temp job that pay sort of well. You will entail to pass a try-out. I like test so I always look for the job that require tests.

As far as fruit picking go, find the areas in California where on earth that is done and only go at hand and look around and find a farm where on earth you see people working and bearing up to them and just ask in the order of how to get a work. Check the want ads within the local papers.

I just looked on www.indeed.com and found this when I typed surrounded by "farm workers":

I might check into this myself. Could be hard on the subsidise.
That Arizona sun could get pretty wild too I would imagine.
