UCLA...upright college or not?
Just wondering if this university is good or not. I might stir if i dont get a student for a place in uni at japan. Thanks for the suggestion who ever is answering. Im planning on taking filming, entertainment primary...along those lines (have not decided which focal yet)

UCLA IS A GOOD SCHOOL. so is cal State Northrige.
Yes UCLA is a great school. In expressions of public schools, it is surrounded by the top 3 best in the country. They own an EXCELLENT film institution (but also very difficult to procure into). The school contained by general is massively difficult to get into, but if you are coming from Japan you might own a better chance of getting within.
You bet! It's a fundamentally reputable institution.
However, it's pretty big and can be overwhelming, they don't do any handholding for you, it's best for those who are self-directed and resourceful in your academic. Plus it's pretty pricey to live there.
Have a pop in and decide for yourself, cooperate to the students and staff for some feedback.
Are there certainly bad university out there? You would reckon that any major university regardless of personal belief is a good one..

UCLA is an excellent university, and this year they received more applications than any other university in the country. They enjoy an excellent Film & Television school, and own the advantage of self located in the heart of the Hollywood entertainment industry.
It's a good college of course shoddier Stanford
The thing in the order of UCLA is that if you do go near, have fun finding parking and dealing beside crazy drivers.
It is an excellent arts school. And even better school is USC.
Though it's a public university, UCLA is one of the world's best university. It has academic for nearly every subject. It's the second biggest spender on research after Johns Hopkins.
But despite being a Public Ivy, you still obligation a lot of money to afford a honest living in LA.

It is located in Westwood, Los Angeles-- a great place within SoCal for young relatives to enjoy existence.
I really don't know how Japanese universities compare though, so it's your christen. You have to consider the pros/cons of respectively and decide. Good luck :)

UCLA is a very devout school, by anyone's standards, except I don`t know USC students. It is world renowned not only for its excellent and rigorous academic, but also its highly successful sports program (currently the lone school to win 100 NCAA championships), and intense research programs. UCLA is the most applied-to university and as of 2005 be ranked the #3 best overall public university by U.S. News and World Report.
Having gone here myself I can say that I have a fantastic time as an undergraduate. I was other academically challenged, have tons of resources to help me contained by many ways and lived surrounded by a great place near the arts school.
