I want to buy a small grow or a home near 3-4 acres but I don't hold any agriculture experience?

Is there any book or tips I can draw from on how to take prudence of a large piece of house. Or should I convert the land into a big garden. I resembling to move to Northern Cali or Oregon. I hate this grind and city natural life that I'm in.

To be honest, 3 - 4 acres is really not large unless you are currently stuck within a city plot. I got out of the city surrounded by 1992 and bought 500 acres, since then I hold added another 900. If you do this, talk to local farmers, the state agriculture board etc. 4 or 5 acres would be great if you basically want to grow your own food, add a chicken house and/or a hog pen and you are set.
Why don't you capture a part time charge on a farm, first. This path you will know if it is something you really want to do.

well first of adjectives, you need to know what description of soil is on your land, check out neighboring homes and see if they hold planted things. it is alot of work to take precision of a farm, im chitchat about 5 or 6 am until 1 am.terrifically demanding work if you want to sell what your growing. yes near are probably books, but i would also try working for someone on a farm, even if its for a week, and you will see if you approaching it. otherwise, just invest contained by some cattle. but they can cost alot too to feed.
well 3-4 acres isn't that colossal. You could get away near a small tractor and some attachements.
Getting the ground ready isn't too firm with the right tools.
Planting isn't complex, just check out the crops specs. to see beside they should be next to.

3 to 4 acres isn't usually considered a small "farm". Farms are generally hundreds, save thousands, of acres dedicated to growing commercial crops on a fundamentally large amount. The farmers I know plant thousands of acres of wheat, a few thousand more acres of corn, etc.

An acre is more or less give or take a few the size of city block. At best, you could call your thought a a large "garden". What you can or can't do near the lot that size is up to the local zoning ordinances. Call the local planning board or zoning commission to see if you can plant a big "garden" and profit from that "garden".

As far as learning to garden, within are a lot of books available on the subject. Check your local library or garden nursery for more information. :)
There is more money surrounded by organic gardening than cultivation. Depends on what you want to do with it. Look around and monitor your neighbors.

Why don't you budge to Powell's book store in Portland and see what you can find. They're bound to enjoy tons of books on the subject. If I remember correctly, there's a branch that is unswerving to Home&Garden.
If I was you, I would contact the University of Oregon. They propose a tremendous variety of programs on the subjects that pertain to farm and gardening. The home extension program can put you in touch beside other people that enjoy done what you hope to do, or that are trying. Also when I was contained by high university there be a group called the FFA... Future Farmers of America.I would assume that group could be helpful. There is still some fine property available for cultivation. It does entail ALOT of intricate work, but not impossible.
