Why do New Yorkers other get fun of New Jersey?
Do you hate them? Is it because NJ is misshapen and a dump? Do you think NJ those are stupid and ugly?
I of late noticed when I go to NYC that a lot of associates just mock on NJ and stuff adjectives the time, but not in front of the NJ population too much. One person from NJ hear it once and said that they were a short time ago jealous cuz they don't hold cars and cuz of the Soprnons success. Is that true at adjectives?

LOL, I don't construe New Yorkers would be jealous of Jersey. Anyways, I never made fun of New Jersey, but from what I hear, individuals from New Jersey make fun of relatives from New York, too.
And I mean is a New Yorker only just going to go up to someone from Jersey and be approaching, "HEY! I don't like you!"
Yeah. So that's a short time ago ignorant. And are you kid me? No CARS? Have they SEEN the traffic in Manhattan? And who requirements a car when we own mass transit?! LOL, the success of the Sopranos? That's a hoot, New Yorkers are jealous of a successful show. I regard as not.

People who live in Manhattan have an idea that that they are cosmopolitan, however in veracity, they are the most parochial people on the planet. They don't know anything chronological the east or Hudson river.

Between employ allthose people here and adjectives the NYer dollars spent on Jersey Companies. you figure these folks would recompense a NYC commuter/business tax but they don't. We fetch the burden for their protection and NYC services to keep you guys viable.
- Hmmmm, if you don't agree beside the first point. Consider that after 911 NJ was screaming for equal help from the Feds as NYC. Their point be that damage to the NYC discount effected New Jersey in recent times as bad. I agree next to them, but don't duck responsibility when it's your turn to pay the bill!
- It used to piss everyone stale here when NJ residents would come here for all NYC would propose and then make a contribution NYers this 'better than you attitude' about their pristene little towns. The funny cog is that now New Jersey is home to some of the towns beside the highest crime rates contained by America.
However in typical New Jersey elitist cult they just stroke as if these issues are not their problems and ignore the cries for relief from their own state residents. In NYC the improvments made throughout the city effected adjectives areas, and those that needed more help, get it.
- One more! I totally resent having to settle up fees at NJ beaches and parks, while their town residents don't hold to pay, Just envision if we checked residentency here in NYC and charged a New Jersey resident here up to that time they could enter Central Park or go to a dinner and a show on Broadway!

I am the idiot who claims the NJ residents work here and use this city to gross their living and pay no taxes here. The Commuter import tax was stopped years ago. If you are paying taxes contained by New Jersey and live in NYC you truly are an idiot or your accountant is!

Well culture that live (key word here, live, not 'are from') in Manhattan that own a problem with "bridge and tunnel" society are just idiots. Most of these citizens came from the midwest or someplace and devise that because they're dumb enough to reward megabucks for rent or have 50 roommates, they're entitled to a city minus people from Brooklyn/Queens, or Jersey. Who care about them or what they judge, like I said, they're not even *from* here!
It have nothing to do beside jealousy!! The second guy I believe hit it on the team leader. NJers are RUDE, obnoxious, and are a pain within the butt to deal with--not adjectives, but a lot of them. Bridge and Tunnel are similar to country mice go to town-- they smack their gum, and wear clothes that are too tight--Take a looka round NJ and you will agree..

Trust me, jealousy have nothing to do next to it. New Yorkers make fun of New Jersey for some pretty concrete and secure reasons.
Those from New Jersey (along beside Queens and Long Island, making up the demographic derisively referred to as "bridge and tunnel") who take over Manhattan on the weekend, adjectives act entitled, impatient, and collectively hostile and aggressive, provoking a negative counterattack from the Manhattanites that have to concord with their presence.
I worked contained by a restaurant in Manhattan for 3 years. Without a doubt, Friday and Saturday dark were night from hell, because of the "bridge and tunnel" crowd, and most of them had New Jersey license. They were predictably rude, loud, obnoxious, and impatient. They have no idea how to get through out in a restaurant, or how to treat their servers. They wore too much makeup and/or cologne, and be easily identifiable from the aboriginal Manhattans by their baggy jeans (men) or their adhesive animal print or sequined blouses (women).
As a server, I remember we would run our asses off catering to their every outlandish fancy ("extra sauce on the side," "decaf coffee with 2% milk," "this drink is meagre," etc.) which, if not fulfilled inwardly 3 seconds, would raison d`¨ētre them to bytch like babies and screech for the manager. We would work twice as tough for half the money.
Those are only a couple of examples from one guy who worked in one restaurant. Now, when you ask the bouncers, the bartenders, the hackney cab drivers, the cops, ANYONE--they will all report you same thing; that b&t'ers across the world act low class, are overdemanding, and do not tip as resourcefully as Manhattanites do the rest of the week.
Thats the reason most New Yorkers LEAVE the city on the weekend--and it have nothing to do next to jealousy. It is to escape the invasion of the bridge & tunnel crowd.

I live surrounded by upstate new york... i love going to the jersey shore, but I enjoy heard that in attendance are some pretty dumpy parts. I also know that when I went to jersey shore when culture asked where I be from they treated me a lot different (in a discouraging way) once they found out haha

Like him, I am FROM NYC, I was born surrounded by Manhattan and grew up in Chelsea (Manhattan) and a few years within Queens, and I lived in the East Village (Manhattan again) the finishing 10 years. In Manhattan especially there enjoy been abundantly of transplants who have moved contained by, mostly from the midwest, but some fromo the south too, who think they are "indisputable New Yorkers" (this is the term they use, announcement nauseum). It is these TRANSPLANTS who tend to mock NJ and "bridge and tunnel" people the most. Most of us who are in actuality FROM here grew up knowing people from NJ adjectives our lives and knowing that Northern NJ is part of our city's metropolitan nouns, and that we have a symbiotic relationship near them.
The idiot who is talking roughly how they should pay taxes, fees, blah blah blah, doesn't know what he's conversation about. New Jerseyans who work surrounded by NYC DO pay NYC city income levy, as well as NY State levy, just as NYers who work within Jersey pay NJ excise (I should know, I worked in NJ for a short while). The idiot claims NJ is a drain on us, when contained by fact they put into our city as much as or more than they run from it, and they, like New Yorkers, do it for their ENTIRE LIVES. If anyone take it's the transplants who come here, make their money, and move out with it and progress back to Iowa or where the family sheep farm is.
So don't hold it against NYers that we are arrogant, but instead realize it's the TRANSPLANTS who cop the attitude that they learned from movies and TV that they THINK they're supposed to hold as New Yorkers. Real NYers don't like them or quality the same passageway.
