Does anyone know more about the 'Listen & Critique' workshop?? Why are they picking 10 associates at random?? So the general public who dont get choosen.. simply loose out right? B/c if you dont perform later your music is not critiqued & I dont think they are doing anything else surrounded by that workshop... I just get the impression like its not unprejudiced that you pay to stir & if you dont get choosen consequently you have no accident to win. Any other info or input on this specific workshop?

Well, you have to look at it as a small price to remuneration for a chance to take 'discovered' especially if you feel you enjoy good talent. Don't discount the reality that you might be able to gridiron with some other musicians within and that could open up some other avenues for you, upright luck.
