18 year olds surrounded by modern york city... help out!!?
My friends and I are going to be spending the weekend after prom in New York City and we are looking for some really fun and different things to do. What are some "bad the beaten path" places to progress in the city? What could we possibly do that isn't impossible to tell apart old eating/shopping/walking contract?
Any ideas would be great!

For both the childlike men and young ladies: if you would close to to go to the Bronx Zoo, you could lift the train from Grand Central Station, which will give you a break to see that building which is beautiful, buy a pick-up lunch while you are in that since there are profoundly of food shops inside the station, then pilfer the train which is fun (buy a round trip ticket) and in totalling, right near the Zoo is The Bronx Botanical Garden .the trees will be contained by full leaf and the gardens looking nice by that time, and in that is a huge glass house full of exotic plants, some of them pretty large.it smells accurate, it is damp, and is great stuff for photography buffs..it really is rotten the beaten footsteps and perhaps if any of you is interested within biology or any of the related fields, if would be nice .contained by addition, the Zoo is great fun: only do not try to see it all !! Pick your exhibits .. Take the train subsidise into Manhattan
* If you do not want to take the train out to the Bronx, you could see The American Museum of Natural History contained by Manhattan at 80th St & Central Park West / connected: Haydn Planetarium
* or right across Central Park on the East Side is The Metropolitan Musem of Art at 82nd Street and Fifth Avenue
* The Central Park Zoo ... enter at 59th and Fifth Avenue
