Well considering surrounded by that change they moved the Braves from 96.1 to 94.9 The Bull and for me The Bull get better reception on my 88-mile commute to and from work, at least until I can switch to WCON 99.3 surrounded by Cornelia, it wasn't a big deal. I didn't listen to 96Rock unless the Braves be on anyway, so it didn't affect me. I usually listen to 104.7 The Fish and 680 The Fan.
I like the imaginative format of Project 9-6-1 when there be more music. Why anyone needs a morning confer show or goofy jokes is beyond me?
Corporate radio really doesn't care something like what you, or I, want to listen to...only their ratings, and who will buy the most commerical time from them. One hours of daylight, I'd like someone to describe me where they're getting these ratings from.
At tiniest you're somewhat lucky...at least 96.1 still plays something i.e. close to what you used to hear. I was a admirer of Fox 97.1 when it was an oldies station and after went Spanish...later Cool 105.7 which did the same entry...then solitary had 94.9 beside its' light text of rock (the only article the work light should be attached to is a beer) and afterwards went country, and immediately have 97.1 The River...which pretty much plays one and the same 300 songs over and over.
