Answers:
Howdy,
I consulted the West Adams Historical Society and found plenty of information on the divine Los Angeles neighborhood.
"West Adams is home to one of the largest collections of historic homes west of the Mississippi River. The West Adams area be largely developed between 1880 and 1925, and contains a wealth of diverse architectural styles which compose a catalog of the architectural styles of the era."
The neighborhood have served as a Hollywood backdrop. Again, according to historical society, "movie stars and show directors alike-including Buster Keaton, Rupert Hughes, W.C. Fields, Fatty Arbuckle, and the Talmadge sisters, Constance, Norma and Natalie-lived in mansions within and near the West Adams District."
You can read and swot a lot more on the neighborhood by visit the links below.

A lot of the well-heeled folk and movie stars lived ther until the great depression where frequent of the homes fell into disrepair. in the did 1980's greatly of people would buy the home and restore them. presently it is getting to be avery beautiful neighborhood again.
