Can you recommend a neighborhood contained by Capitol Hill to live?
In my last press, I asked about nieghborly communities within Northern Virginia. One responder recommended Capitol Hill. I'm moving to DC area soon. I've hear Capitol Hill is spotty in areas. What blocks or streets would you recommend I look at?

Live in Springfield.
Close to everything & close to highway, even has a metro station.
In the Capitol Hill nouns, I really like Penn Quarter.
But you own to understand that the prices come and go widely in the different section of DC, and in some areas you will pay packet as much for a studio apartment as you will for an entire single family house out surrounded by the suburbs.
So, how much is commute time worth to you? How many folks are you housing? Do you have to concern yourself next to schools for children?
Away from Capitol Hill but still on the Metro lines are Cleveland Park and Dupont Circle; on the lines but surrounded by VA are Arlington, Falls Church, and Vienna, all of which own a neighborhood feel.
I absolutely recommend that you come and look before you relocate. You enjoy to know if you want to be a city dweller or a suburbanite, your tolerance for commuting, and your budget.
Actually, Capitol Hill IS a neighborhood. And commonly a good one.
The closer to the Capitol itself, and the closer to Capitol Street east, the better.
Very specifically, here is a triangle formed by the Capitol, Pennsylvania Avenue to the south, and Massachusetts Avenue to the north, as far out as where they gather round at Lincoln Part. That's the best (and by far the most expensive) area of Capitol Hill.
The Penn Quarter guidance is good, but it's not capitol mound - it's, well, Penn Quarter.
Well I would voice instead of Capitol Hill In northern Va a town called Centreville. Its a great town and close to DC
