Honeymoon...?
I live in Philadelphia and my fiancee and I are looking for a nice simple not too expensive honeymoon not too far from here right after our nuptials in May 2008 until we jump on our other honeymoon later contained by the year. A few people told us roughly speaking the Resorts in the Poconos where on earth they have the champagne bathtubs and suites. We don't know where on earth to go. We are looking for something specifically driving distance or where Greyhound can purloin us or even Septa. If anyone has any design of where we can run or if you been too or know any information on the Poconos would be greatly appreciated.

The Poconos are nice. You could also go to AC. There is a train that will pinch you.
The Poconos have alot of cute little Bed and Breakfasts as well as huge hotel chains and resorts. There are several differnt mountains you can go to...my personal favorite is Jack Frost. Go to www.poconosbest.com...this site is fitting for traveler information.

Well in reality there is a wonderful place its call the Ceasars Resort in Poconos where on earth in reality they do have the Champagne Glass Whirlpool Bath-for-Two also they hold pools in the rooms etc... How give or take a few New Hope, PA / Lambertville, NJ? It's less than a 45 min drive from Philly. The nouns has tons of B&Bs for every budget. If you can afford to spend some money, try http://www.woolvertoninn.com/, which is thoroughly romantic. You can visit wineries, jump antiquing, rent a bicycle and ride around, eat dinner along the Delaware River, etc. If the weather is nice, you can even ride surrounded by a hot air balloon!

Aha! Check out Allenberry on the Yallow Breeches. It is outside Carlisle, within Boiling Springs, actually. There is a popular summer playhouse in that, lovely grounds, nice rooms, good food. It is impressively romantic and quiet.
My matrimony reception was near when I was married contained by 1967, and it has simply gotten better. (The marriage didn't label it, but Allenberry has thrived!)
The Yellow Breeches is a deeply well-known fly fishing stream that individuals come to from all over. The later time I visited, we be treated to the sight of general public fishing at dusk, which was also cool. Very silent...
