What are some great places to stop by when traveling from indiana to califonia?
in august i iwill be making a move from indiana to san francisco california. i enjoy never been chronological kansas and would like to know what are some destinations i involve to see on my trip westward. it is just my husband and myself going on the trip.

as long as you pick up a map contained by san francisco all the must see places beside be highlighted. personal experience will tell you this: budge to eating away from Downtown. If you want Chinese Food stir to Little China; Italian Little Italy and so forth. Dont miss out the Gardens or Golden Gate Park. Also dont drive around San Fran, take the transit within its great and cheap.
As for the weather even though its in Aug. it can get hold of chilly while your in the shadows of downtown. Bring a feathery sweater (cashmere i'd say) and sunblock, because even though its cold its still the California August Summer Sun.
