We are going to disney world on my daughter spring break which is the week of 17-21 of March. Easter falls on the 23 of march, do you devise the crowds will be really bad the week we are at hand? I have hear the weekend of Easter is really bad, but how nearly the week before?

We are planning to be there during this time also, it is my benevolent that it will be spring break for Texas, Louisanna, Ga, Fl, Alabama, Virginia and West Virginia. So crowds will be heavy. See you in attendance.
I dont think it will be as unpromising as christmas time but you will probably have to continue a little bit. Its best to try to avoid the holidays as the parks are full more than usual. Definitly look into using fast pass when you get here. It will save you closely of time waiting in column. My husband, son and I used those last time and it be great. There are other crowds at Disney World, the best time to check everything out is at night during the spectacle, the lines are a lot shorter and its not as hot, merely have fun during the light of day, go relax for a while travel back during the show and have a blast
Yes it is going to be crowded..especially the Easter weekend..I have hear that the easter holiday is just as crowded as anyone there on Christmas..very soon that you know it will be crowded fish around for some ideas on how to maximize your time near fastpasses etc etc..check on some disney fan webistes resembling disboards and allears.net for some tips..
anytime kids are out of university expect large crowds. wait could be an hour or more per ride.
There is usually a 3-5 week span specifically considered a peak time and since you are going during spring break, you will encounter lines no issue what. There is a difference if you are staying at one of the Disney resorts or not. If you are, you can get access faster than other guests entering the park. Either way win up early, hold a good breakfast & put on your walking shoes. Usually you can catch alot accomplished surrounded by the beginning of the afternoon, also it's not as hot as it is in the afternoon. They do hold what's called a FASTPASS. This might give a hand you with the lines, but not sure if near is a limited use, otherwise everyone would use it, afterwards what's the point. Disney is crowded pretty much any time between the times when Spring breaks are programmed. The week you are talking roughly speaking is going to be busy, but believe me it is completely manageable. I filch my family reasonably often the week of Easter, surrounded by fact this year we will be arriving on March 21st and going away the following Friday. I LOVE going in the spring, even the week of Easter. First of adjectives the weather is perfect, temps within the mid to upper 80's and lows at night surrounded by the mid to upper 60's. The crowds are there but not overwhelming, except for Easter Sunday when the Magic Kingdom is crazy. If you hold ever been to Disney during Christmas or over the summer you would love Easter too. Christmas is the busiest I own ever seen at Disney, and honestly we have fun but I won't do that again. Summer is unbearably hot and crowded, but the crowd is different. There are various more people from other countries that really don't enjoy any desire to try to communicate or stand in lines resembling everyone else there contained by the summertime, and that gets enormously frustrating. I took the family over the 4th of July a couple of years ago and my son who be in a stroller at the time be basically knock over without a thought. People would try to hold places surrounded by line for their friends, afterwards claim they didn't understand English and didn't know it be against the rules (or polite). Plus the tour groups walking around chanting really be bad. After that experience we won't travel during the summer ever again. Going during the off apex times does save some money and crowds, however Disney does their refurbishment on their rides and attractions afterwards, plus the parks close much earlier. It make things a little more difficult to see what you want even though the crowds are lighter.

I bought the book "The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World." This book does tell you what times of the year the park is busy...but more importantly, it give you a plan for exploring the park in such a course that you can avoid the crowds and long lines. They have analyzed where on earth people budge at what times, and send you within the opposite direction :)
I followed the plan within the book, and it worked out very very well. We got to see oodles attractions, although you do have to hold moving and can't linger contained by order to see everything.
In common, WDW is a small park and they admit more populace than can comfortably fit. There are few benches, for example, to rest on. I found Epcot Center to be larger and less crowded.
