Circus Circus.fitting place to stay or not?
I've heard mixed reviews something like Circus Circus, most have be on the postitive side hyping up the indoor amusement park, the restaurants & the pricing. (which does seem to be extremely conceivable for a weekend stay) But some say it's not a thoroughly good place to stay and too far from the heart of the strip.
Any thoughts something like it?..
Answers:
NO Circus Circus is a low-priced cheap hotel. I used to stay here when I was a kid going in attendance with my parents. Yes it be fun at the time because of the indoor amusement park and circus acts, but I would never stay here now. Unless you own kids, I would suggest staying somewhere nicer. For a little more money, try MGM, NYNY, Bally's, Treaure Island. Or if you truly want to indulge, try Bellagio or Mandalay Bay. Bellagio is by far the best hotel I've stayed at when I be there...great for couples. Their rooms are so comfy and the casino itself have tons of shops and restaurants. Mandalay Bay has an awesome thrash pool, called "the Beach". I basically went near last month..tried to walk to the wave pool and it be packed beside people.
Anyways...hope this help...
If you are bringing children to Las Vegas Circus Circus may be a great place to stay. There are however much better hotels if you are coming for Adult activities.
Look at the packages offered by Southwest vacation; perhaps you can upgrade your hotel by combining airfare and hotels.
If you enjoy kids with you afterwards yes you will be fine. If you don't then don't stay near because you won't need to be bothered. Not that children are a bother but vegas isn't a place for kids.
It is close to a impossible part of the city but it is a worthy place to take children to during the daytime if have them. My brother surrounded by law is a cop and works down at hand and at night near are alot of gangs and shootings and so forth. I would stay within the casino but i dont recommend on going out into the theme park and walking around the nouns at night.
yes contained by about 3-5 years Circus Circus will located within the most desirable place in las vegas, but alas at the moment its one and only neighbours are empty condo towers and massive construction sites :(
As for the hotel, it is full of children, the restaurants plain suck and its for a while bit run down (don't believe the BS here, its not great but there are alot worse than CC within las vegas).
The west tower is a decent choice if booking Circus Circus but remember lots of walking, cabs or buses will be needed to return with around las vegas because CC is near nowhere surrounded by particular. Given the choice if you can obtain the Tropicana (island towers rooms, NOT THE GARDEN ROOMS) at or near the price of CC after take it, or try the Gold Coast or the Orleans (both of these enjoy free shuttles every 15 minutes to Bills Gambling Hall across from the Bellagio, so no walking needed)
If you have kids, I'd rob them to another hotel... Excalibur is a much better choice. If you want to go to circus circus, in recent times make it a afternoon time excursion from another hotel.
dirty, gummy, full of screaming brats. Just one more excuse for parents to bring toddlers to Vegas. Can't dally till it's imploded.
There are two sides to this answer. Yes the amusement park is nice (though pricey) and the circus atmosphere is entertaining. If you like the movie fear and loathing contained by las vegas, it is cool to get to stay nearby. However, it is on the dirty side. It also is VERY far from the strip and in a sketchy nouns... Good luck with your choice
The hotel is full of little kids and smells close to feet and popcorn.
Don't believe the hype. There are tons of other FREE things to do within Vegas. You won't want to spend all your time surrounded by one hotel.
If you are with clan, try Excalibur instead.
Another bargain place on the strip is Imperial Palace.
You could always find the best place to stay and consequently VISIT the circus circus funfare.
I always stay at the Imperial Palace. Incredibly bland, but surrounded by the middle of the strip & as cheap as most places.
With comps, the room & restaurant normally work out free for me, at the Imperial Palace.
Here is a little info on my one and with the sole purpose stay at Circus Circus.
Checked in. Went to my room. Wanted to fix a drink, so I go to the ice appliance. I fill the rime bucket with rime, and go put a bet on to my room. Put some ice contained by a glass, and something catch my eye. I look back at the rime bucket, and notice at hand is a dead roach surrounded by the ice bucket. (Came out of the rime machine.)
I ring downstairs to complain, she says she will own a manager give the name me back shortly. While waiting for the call upon, I start watching TV. Once again, something catches my eye. There are bugs and roaches crawling on the floor subsequent to the dresser. I call downstairs to complain. Luckily, this time thet upgrade me to a "suite" on a difficult floor.
I get to the "suite" and the room is huge, but the decor is something out of the Munsters TV show. Dust everywhere. By this time I try to spawn the best out of a bad situation. I fix a drink. (Straight - no rime this time.) After my drink I adjust the thermostat to get some nouns blowing through the room. The vent cover falls right off the wall. It be barely floppy on by one loose screw. I prop it up against the wall and call downstairs. They transport someone (the next day) near a drill to screw it in properly.
I could jump on and on but I'll stop. The place is a dump. It smells. A lot of riff raff hang out right subsequent door at slots-a-fun. Don't stay there. You're predictable to get your purse snatched. You can't read aloud you haven't been warn.
Circus Circus is a horrible hotel to stay contained by. The place smells, the carpeting is worn out and the place just wreaks bleak interior designing. Its very far from the rest of the strip. I would suggest Treasure Island or the Mirage or the Flamingo. The flamingo have a more reasonable pricing.
The phrase "Nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to stay there" applies. It is as the identify states, circus-circus. Stay someplace else and stop by for a visit.
