Answers:
No, they will take lolly, but if you make a reservation, you might own to secure the room beside a card...then when you arrived inform them you will be paying cash.
For the time one, at least, change is still a legal tender method of paying within the US.
It is adjectives practice around the world for hotels to ask for credit card details upon checking in. This will cover for any damages or losses from the mini railing if you leave lacking paying. All they will do is take a swipe/copy of the card. We hold never had any problems near money being taken that we have not approved, so I would take one next to you.
Yes and don't forget the cheap bottle of booze and the hooker
Nobody will refuse change and a passport is obligatory very soon in hotels when booking surrounded by.The card is handy for booking over the phone.I travelled to the US in August lacking a credit card.
JUST WENT THROUGH A COUPLE OF HOTELS AND I WOULD SAY YES AS A DEPOSIT STAND POINT BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO PAY WITH IT, THEY USE IT AS A FORM OF ID AND SECURITY
You don't have to PAY by Creditcard for your stay BUT Creditcard is required to guarantee your reservation and also to manufacture sure that you have nil left astern after you check-out. E.g. phone bills, your orders, services.
no cash will do
You involve a credit or debit card to reserve the hotel (you can always reward cash there) and for any incidentials which can nick up to 3 days to show up on your card.
